The IFFI project (Italian Landslide Inventory) is carried out by the Geological Survey of Italy in ISPRA (National Institute for Environmental Protection and Research) in cooperation with the Italian Regions and Independent Provinces. In the database are stored more than 485,000 landslides that cover more or less the 7 % of the national territory. The dataset is composed by three different level of information, each landslide is identified by a source point (PIFF) that is linked with a details form. The dataset is differentiated in according with the geometry of landslide object in: points (the source point), lines (when there is a runoff way of landslide deposits) and polygons that are subdivided in: Deep Gravitational deformation, diffused shallow landslide and landslide deposits.
